Can Anyone Learn to
Dance?
In our 25 years experience on teaching people to dance in our own
dance school in Tampa, we have yet to find a person who could not become a good
dancer.
One of the most rewarding feelings we get as teachers is the excitement we
see in people when they discover how easy it is to learn to dance. People become very
coordinated as soon as they know where to place their feet and what to do with
their arms. They also become very rhythmic as soon as they understand what to
listen for in the music and the basic rhythm of each dance.
The hardest thing about learning to dance is getting started!
About the Become A Good Dancer Video Series
We have been teaching at our own dance school and producing
instructional
videos since 1979. Our new series "How To Become A Good Dancer" is the
result of years of experience in helping people discover the fun of dancing.
We have researched and selected the most popular and requested dances from
all over the Country and divided them into two complete home study courses:
 |
Big
Band, Swing & Nightclub |
 |
Latin Dancing & Argentine Tango. |
Our
courses provide the solutions to the three most basic problems people face when
wanting to learn to dance:
 |
Wanting to dance but unsure of which dance they want to learn or what is
available. |
 |
Unsure of which music goes with which dance and where to find it. |
 |
Having a way to remember the steps when they are out on the dance floor. |
Each one of our courses comes with:
 |
An instructional video on the seven most popular dances for each
particular style. |
 |
A practice music CD with two perfect tempo songs for each of the
dances covered. |
 |
A set of handy, quick-reference cue Cards. |
The courses are convenient and easy to follow. They are ideal for today's busy
people.
System Of Teaching In Our Courses
The System of Teaching in our tapes makes the process of learning to dance
simple and lots of fun. The System is Progressive and Interrelated -
patterns continue to build on the previous one and most of them can be transferred
from one dance to another.
The Step Patterns covered in our tapes have been selected not only for their
popularity among dancers but also for their beneficial effect on developing the
body to move gracefully. We also introduce essential leading and following
techniques to make dancing more natural and comfortable for both partners.
A Word About Dancing
Dancing offers benefits beyond most leisure activities - great exercise, the
perfect way to relax and relieve stress, plus added confidence at any social occasion.
Dancing is a delightful hobby for couples to share, and a fun, safe and easy way
for singles to meet and make new friends.
Becoming a good dancer is a life enhancing experience.
